The more siping, the better the tire will be in snow/rain/ice. The KM2s, and most mud terrains, don't have much siping at all. If you spend most of your time in the sand, mud, etc..then the mud terrains might work for you. I drive mine daily, and need something for any situation, that can be equally as good off road. The KO2s work perfectly for me. They don't clean as well in mud, but that's to be expected from an AT.
