Greg,

Any post-Bullrun update? I'm about to pull the trigger based on your review, but I'm still thinking it will turn into a martini shaker offroad, despite Tucker's confidence in his 'stiff hose.' I'm less worried about it damaging something, than I am shaking the can up and down with oil in it and ingesting a large amount of oil into the intake.

Side note: Looks like your trip was life-changing, and I've enjoyed following/reading up on it.

First thing in the morning, I will get some pictures, review, and check everything after 5000+ mile journey..

Okay, here is the review a lot of people have been waiting for....

After 5000+ miles with 3500 being at high speed (116 mph max), tail of the dragon, big nasty mud run, and at least 1000 miles at 85 mph+ through 21 states and two Canadian provinces in 10 days.

Everything still firmly attached, no issues with lines kinking, breaking or flopping around!

Top of coil pack, very slight rubbing nothing to be concerned about.. (my rubber piece has disappeared from bottom of cup) no issues!

Very little oil accumulation, which is very surprising.. This verifies that offroad produces a ton more blowby than just high speed driving..

Overall, this is a very quality kit, and i recommend it.. I will be sending my oil off for analysis and will have results shortly..

I was very surprised also.. It makes sense running at constant high speed produces less blow by verses on and off the throttle of driving off road.

+1, Thanks Greg. I also expected to see maybe 2-3 ounces in there. Surprising but positive result! In the last picture it looks like there is oil all the way up to the open rim of the can and along the threads. Is this just an illusion or did oil splash all the way up to the I/O ports?

Sidetrack, are you analyzing the captured oil from the JLT can, or sampling from an oil change? Has me wondering if there would be any variance...

The oil around threads is because of me fumbling the catch can when trying to take a picture..

As far as oil analysis i have base line before jlt, and I am going to see if there is a difference between with and without..

After SDBR, both Huck and I had very little in the catch cans, less than 1/2 an once.

Good product, easy install. Would like to see a mount for it, but if squattingdog didn'tbrakeit yet, perhaps we don't need one, lol...:D

Those JLT's cans look good for quality. Was planning on going with the L&S separator for the lightning, which mounts to the oil cap for drain back, but didn't realize how bad the oil gets.
