Put breathers on the truck and then you don't have to worry about it...except for the oil mist that will permeate your engine bay and coat everything including headers which can, in extreme cases, cause a fire.

Just run the can.

That was a good one!! So true---all one has to do is research Just A Little and then they will actually be able to understand how the internal combustion engine works.

Not sure if this is just me or not but for anybody with the updated filter I would check the reservoir about every 500 miles. I have checked mine twice now with about 500 miles in between and it was full. I used to check it with the old filter every oil change (every 4000 miles). I can't believe there is that much blow by in my NA motor just have intake exhaust and the 5 star 93 perf tune. Of course it has been pretty cold here. And mine looks very milky.

Oh boy.... installed the new filter before snoball.... that was 4000 miles ago now. I'm betting it's full.

Here are some pics of the old and new filter from the install.

I just changed my oil the other night and I swapped out the separator filter to the upgraded version while I was at it. I'm interested to see the difference in how much is collected.

I finally broke down and order one today. Since I almost have 30K miles on the beast should I treat it with Seafoam before install?

I guess I'll see if there's a video on YouTube on how to do the treatment.

This is what I had in mine after snoball and the installation of the new filter.
It never looked this nasty before. The filter is catching more shit.

GREAT LAKES RAPTOR EXCURSIONS

I received and installed the new filter yesterday. However, it didn't say anywhere in the instructions to take and keep the old filter out (it actually said to clean it with a degreaser). I see that you only have the small filter in. Should I not run them both?
