Looking to true dual my 2012 Raptor, any ideas out there on the subject? like H-pipe, X-pipe, or just straight out with both? been hearing lots about engine back pressure and getting console alarms? so any ideas would be great. OH and also looking for a "chip" so any word on good superchip out there for this truck would be great as well!! Thanks

Can you dual with no muffler? or is there too much back pressure loss there?

Back pressure is for low RPM torque only, after that it is scavenging; if you go without mufflers you still should have a crossover/x-pipe.

in my opinion, a "true" dual is just that, true, dual, meaning they are two seperate pipes. no x pipe, no H pipe, no y pipe. nothing. true dual. now thats not the ideal way to do it, ideally youd haver an x pipe or h pipe. in which case, in my opinion, its simply a dual exhaust. not a "true" dual exhaust.

just my thoughts on the "true" dual subject.

as for tuner, go with the 5 star tune. tons of people have em and love em

I have the Stainless headers, x pipe set up like beerman. They are awesome!!!! dont listen to 6.2 as his ranger has 3 cylinders, you need an x pipe for back pressure. Stainless Works is the way to go.

He said that's not ideal that's just his opinion of "true dual"

Uh, 6 cylinders.
# of cylinders has nothing to do with what I posted. Could have 24, could have 2.

Well thankfully someone can read!
