750 is higher than I thought as well, plus I would want them coated too. Did you need to replace your plug wires with insulated ones with your LT headers, I did with my Vette...

I am just thinking this could be over $1k before install and with marginal gains...hmmm

on my 6.0 yes. i did it all at the same time. i did the LT's, NGK plugs, MSD wires with wire socks. the socks def needed

Hey Rated, that dyno test sounds good. Be sure to post your results when your done.

I just put my deposit down on these shortys.

I was saying I want to see some dyno proven numbers before I go and spend the money on shorty headers. I was trying to see if a shop mite be able to show some proven numbers. Not saying that they won't put out the 10-15. I just want to see oem vs shorty vs long tube.

Sure gains are smaller that LT's but you can pass any test there is... And most people do not want a truck that has LT's on... They are still trying to sell my truck and the complaint from the customers is they dont like the LT's and high flow cats.

Once you change to the high flow cats your truck can no longer be sold as a certified pre-owned... No warranty from the dealer on the emissions...
