Intercooler Shutters - removal.

I think for the pre 2024 truck you can just unplug the actuator and you're good, at least that's what I have heard

based on the poster above i doubt it. i had read about codes being thrown a couple of years ago too

I believe they are “soft” codes in the older models.

Any noticeable difference in temperatures? The cosmetic talks about matching flares are great but I’m hungry for some meat and potato data - what kind of delta between shutters vs no shutters are we seeing when it really matters - the summer? I believe under 110f there’s little benefit if I remember the tuner discussions from years back, but my tuned+whipple IC swapped 2022 can see 120-125 in the summer, with shutters still in so I’m curious.

I am seeing about a 8-13 degree difference from ambient under steady throttle. I also have a Cobb OEM mount intercooler.
