Hey, just an FYI. I had my RPG 1.5" collars installed a couple days back and last night I just happened to be driving behind my wife (she didn't know it was me). She was talking to my daughter on the phone and told her "this jerk behind me is blinding me with his lights"!! So, if you don't want to ****-off others on the road (or your wife), it's probably a good idea to adjust your lights after the collar install.

I just aborted the mission of installing my RPG collars. I couldn't get the end of the spring compressor up inside the bucket. I tried on a lower area of the spring, but then it wouldn't compress enough. I guess I will have to take it somewhere. disappointing as I had no issue doing my Gen1.

I originally aborted my first attempt this morning. Tried again late this afternoon and got it done. Used the standard coil compressors pictured in most videos. I did not put it on the top coil as it would not fit. I found it to be easier to jack the a-arm up a couple inches before trying to install the coil compressors. The upper control arm did not offer enough clearance for the outward facing coil compressor threaded rod with the suspesion relaxed. I put them on the second coil from the top and basically the bottom coil on the lower side. I took measurements of the amount of comoression needed. The distance between the inside edge of the coil compressors was 4-1/8" on the drivers side. I went a little too far as the threaded rod bottomed out on the shock/coil bucket. I got by with 4-1/2" between them on the oassenger side. Its about 2" or so of compression needed to offer enough for the install of the collar. Once compressed, I lowered the jack u der the a-arm to clear the way for the RPG collar install. I did have to beat the factory collar up with a wooden rod (cut broom stick) and a hammer. Had to work it from both sides. Took quite a bit of force to get then to move up. Once they are up and out of the way you are home free. I installed the collars and jacked the a-arm back up until it barely lifted the truck from the jack stand; about 1/8" or less. This makes loosening the coil compressors much easier. Once the coil compressors are loosened and removed, i lowered the jack from under the a-arm, re-mounted the tire and jack the truck off the jack stand.

The secomd attempt took 4 hours total. I went slow as I was not sure if it would work or if I would get the compressors stuck in the coil. Probably 3 hours for the first one and 1 hour for the second one.

My supercrew measures 41" to 41-1/4" in the feont and and 42-1/4" in the rear. About 1" of rake. Perfect for me as I did not want it dead level. I pull a boat and other trailers.

No alignment performed (yet; if needed) and I still have not adjust headlights. I will try that tomorrow.

Sorry no pics. Just wanted to try and offer more information for those considering to tackle this project. I almost gave up and paid someone to do it. I didnt realize the factory perch would be so hard to move up out of the way.

Good luck!

...Took me 3 shops to find an alignment rack that would fit. 1 too short and 1 not wide enough (running +1 offset wheels)

Did it yesterday. Note stack of washers to shorten rod from going up into the shock tower. The collars need about 9/16" clearance above recess in the shock to install, so crank the shit outta the compressor, and when you think you got enough, go 10 more turns. My factory perches moved just fine when coaxed with a nice piece of of tapered clear pine and a 4 pound sand mallet. You don't really need the ratchet strap to hold the spring up, but if you're doing the job by yourself, it sure helps.
Yes, I am ready for the flaming for the mall crawler rims, but I ******* love it. 22" HRE's with titanium lugs, 37 x 13.50 R/T's. Holy shit. What have I done??

New to the Raptor, but I've had many lifted f150's in the past. I actually like the slight rake look.

Do I need even need the collars to run a 35x12.50 w a 20x10 wheel (-19 offset, 4.75 Backspace)?

That is a lot of backspace for this truck so I would say that you should get it. You can surely survive without it. Also depends on what tires you plan to run. If you are going with an all-terrain you will be much better off than with a Mud Terrain Tire. Even with an RPG you will likely still rub at full lock under compression. I still rub ever so slightly and I am running 35x12.50 Toyo M/T's on 20x9 +1mm Offset.

The 1.5" RPG Collars will give you about 1" of Rake and I think this little rake looks perfect.
