Great job on your pictures and write up. I wish there was more of this as a point of comparison with other lights. This just made my decision a little easier to swap out my hood lights.

My XL80's on the hood drown out a KC 30" and 40" behind the grille, my headlights and 20" amber. They're insane

I would think the XL80s have a lot of light spill and would really light up the hood to much for my liking which is why I went with the Racer. The center of my hood is almost dark with minimal glare. Great pics thanks

Yea because of the combo pattern it does put a lot of light on the hood. And the amber covers make like a halo ring in my side of the light.
