Three week old truck, to me. 2010 with 170K, 6.2 engine.
Last week, it started shuddering while driving and then died on me, a total of five times.
It started back up after I turned it off and started it again, then the CEL light started flashing a bunch of times and the truck started driving very rough.
The last time it died, the CEL stayed on.
I found a friend of a friend who used to be a tech at a ford dealership and took the truck to him.
He hooked up the scanner and the only Code was P2610.
He thinks the ECM needs to be reprogrammed and it should be fine after that.
The truck does have the following issues, according to him.
I really love the truck and want to keep it for the forseeable future.

- Moog ball joints, he prefers OEM and the guy has three Ford trucks in his driveway.
- One of the exhaust pipe that goes over the rear axel is starting to rust, I will get it fixed.
- Tires need rotated.
- He thinks the shocks are too soft, but I was told by the PO that the shocks were rebuilt 20K ago by a shop in Minneapolis.
I really love the truck and want to keep it for the forseeable future.
