I have the amber/more yellowish covers on my Racers and the halo is not that bad. It is only right around the edge of the light and does not shine on the hood. It glows. At first it was distracting but not now. I wish they made covers in clear and blue

I just run the spot lens on my XL80's so no real issue with lighting up the hood. I just ordered the Amber lens covers and will see how they do. I might mask then off on the edges with black tape to see if it makes a difference on light spill. If it does I might paint or have vinyl cut to mask the covers

That's a good idea. I might try taping up the main surface and hitting the lip with black paint

They don't really cast any colored light they just glow. I thought about blacking out the edges but have not tried it yet

I have been holding out hope that they would do a run of blue ones for the xl and onx6 bars.

Might need to try the clear covers and put the blue gel in the clear cover. Was a pia to try and tint the lens with the way the Baja lights bezels are done so a clear cover should make it easier to use the blue gel for snow

The clear Squadron Rock Guards are definitely on the list. We are currently expecting these to be available in at least 6 months.
