damn man, score me a set of 2013 lights for $350!!!! lol Where the heck did you manage to find that deal???
Update on the reverse lights. I got my reverse lights, front flashers, and rear flashers/brake light LEDs in today. Left the tails out for now till I have time to install the resistors. Pics of the brighness comparisons this weekend when I have some time to format up the pics nicely. I did comparison of stock bulb vs LED bulb in my garage with those same type photos for every size and combo bulb in the truck.
Anyway back to the reverse lights. THEY FIT!!!!! With about 1/8" to spare LOL! They actually BARELY fit through the hole in the taillight, and they almost touch the plastic lense. I had them on for quite a while, way longer than I'd ever be backing up, and they never even got close to being warm, so the close proximity to the tail lense isn't an issue.
From the back, you just see the projector lense of the LED
From the side you can see the side LEDs, but they really only stand out if you're looking at them. Looking back a bit further you're not really focusing on what's IN the taillight reverse lense, and even if you do notice, it lets you know something bright is going on inside there lol.
This pic is one side stock, one side LED......MASSIVE improvement!
This pic shows the same shot different angle. Look how you can barely tell the grille bars on the right side of my 85's grille, you can't see the inspection sticker, or anything else. Now also notice in the background the site of my house lit up from the other side with the LED light!
Now check this one out, not only can you see the grille bars, you can see the inspection sticker, and even the level hanging on the gunrack in the back window. These suckers REALLY make a difference!
I'll post up more pics later in the week. This just shows the behind-light from the projector LED. Those 10 side LEDs really throw a LOT of light as well, I got a really good pic to show that but I"ll post that one later, I gotta hit the sack for the night.
