Reverse lights, most common was the Cree 7 Watt, but I didn't like it was only a rear facing lensed LED. Great for behind, but not utilizing the reflector and spreading the light around at all. I want to be able to see light along the sides behind me too. Here's the Cree 7 Watt
I liked this one from the first post since it has side facing lights, but the side lights are only 1.5w plasma, and the rear facing big LED is only 3W, so it's a 9W total.
This one was nice too, but it's got the 4 side facing 1.5w, and a rear 1.5w, so 7.5w total. I wanted MOAR! lol
I decided to buy these ones that were advertised as 25watt that were mentioned earlier. There's 4 side LEDs, so not sure if they're included in the 25w rating, but even if they are, the rear facing one should still be at least 20w. I'm still a little skeptical that all LEDs are typically way lower values and this one is so high, but I"ll test it out. Hopefully it fits in the reverse lights if not I"ll toss them in the cargo lamp. The ebay ad says they won't shipp till Feb 20th though which sucks.
Since the 4 side LEDs on the above one don't look all too bright and look like they're 3528 ones, I may use them in the cargo lamp anyway and use these ones below for the reverse lights if they'll fit. I want side lighting from the reverse lights too, not just behind me. These ones have TEN 5050 LEDs on the sides! Along with a Cree 5w main rear facing LED. I think each 5050 LED is rated 1w, so that would give this light an overall rating of 10w for the side LEDs and 5w for the rear main LED. 15w overall. I think this will have the best light spread out of any so far.
I really hope it fits!
I ordered both the last 2 sets above, so I'll take side by side comparison pics of them both, then decide which set is going in the reverse lights, and which set is going in the cargo lamp.
