Agreed 180k is NOTHING.. my dad still daisy's his 1994 Dodge ran cummins... 487k ish miles.

My transit work vans(3.5 ecos) all have 200k plus miles on them. Maintenance is key.
Bit of an apples and oranges comparison. Also, there is a difference between driving a car off the lot brand new (or almost new) and maintaining it and keeping after everything vs buying some random vehicle with 180K for still quite a lot of money (Raptor). High mileage is extremely vehicle dependent. Is a 180K corvette not high mileage? An Audi R8? Raptor is still a pickup, but it doesn't quite fit the mode of a work truck.

Well, my 2017 SCAB is just under 18,000 miles as well.............Oh wait, mine has one less zero than that one! And it would take almost twice that price to wrangle it away from me.........

I had a 2017 r8.. one of the most dependable engines out there. I'd trust that v10 over any modern day ford engine. But agree apples and Oranges depending on vehicle... but any domestic vehicle with proper maintenance- 180k is nothing

I agree, I guess im not blaming the vehicle in this situation. I’m more skeptical of the previous owner(s). Lol

My 2022 turned 25k miles yesterday. A sad day. I haven't kept a vehicle for that many miles in 10 years. Ahh, but I finally got smart and stopped trading in new vehicles. I don't need another bath.

I have an 18 with no cam phaser problems. I change oil every 3k with amsoil synthetic. 76k and have been running goose stage 2 custom tune since around 8k miles.
