Hey guys! While doing some digging under my newly acquired 2019 Raptor, I have found a disconnected grey 4 prong connector right by the blow off valve, and factory BOV not connected to any recirculating hoses on the outlet side common mod for loud blow off sound?)

Can someone tell me what this connector is, and whether or not BOV not hooked up like that is okay? Truck has an AFE intercooler.bov4.jpegbov5.jpeg

Just checked wire colors. 2 of them are black with thin white stripe, and the other 2 are grey with a thin blue stripe. The harness for this connector appears to merge with another harness that goes to one of coolant radiator fans behind the OEM radiator.

Been a while since I did my intercooler upgrade. But that looks like the plug for the oem intercooler fans that you no longer have. My cobb kit came with a plug that would go there to make the computer think it still had them. And it looks like your bov is just venting to atmosphere instead of recirculating back in.

Thanks guys! Yeah, it’s a front mount intercooler that does not use fans, so that makes sense. I wonder why this kit did not come with anything to cap off that unused connector. I’m going to tape mine up.

Is it the stock intake? There should be a nipple (hehe) on the backside of the big tube going to the airbox. If the hose was removed purposely, the nipple should be closed off with a cap. FYI there is no harm in leaving it uncapped and venting to atmosphere.

It has an AFE intake box and tubing, so just 2 small nipples and a small hose that links 2 bigger intake tubes together.
