Let us know about the UCAs, I think ICON is giving a set away for the Snoball500.

It would be great to have some Canadian brethren on the trip. We know you Canucks can take the cold, hahahaaa.

A couple of comparison pictures with the ICON coil over beside the King. The most noticeable difference is the longer spring on the ICON. Both shocks are set up from the factory at recommended height settings.

The king springs are pre loaded look at the spanner ring that holds the top of the spring

Sure will be interested in your review on these shocks!!!

Icon is becomming my #2 best shock, with King as #1 and Fox slipping to #3

Just from actual internal size

Figured I would start the install today with something easy like the rear shocks.
Well nothing is as easy as you think. The instructions read some sanding may be necessary to make the shocks fit. I started off with a dremel but had to go find the grinder to speed things up. I'll post a picture of how much material needs to be removed. Getting the shock in place was surprisingly no easy task, You will have to recruit a neighbour for a couple of minutes of help. I called ICON for some install tips and they were very polite and helpful. One thing they could not help me with was the torque specs for the shock bolts, they said that they are not allowed to give that info, so if anyone knows I would appreciate the info.
Oh ya, painted the rotor while I had the wheel off.

Oh please tell me you are getting some sort of air bump ? llike the Outlaw kit ? and stock springs, set your last compression tube really tight

[QUOTE power steering reservoir with cooler. I am impressed with ALL his answers to my questions..

Power steering reservoir has a better looking mounting system than another company, I heard their were two failed mounting problems on the Raptor Expeditions land rush run. I did not see any of these but I will do some investigating to see if this is true.

Both the King and the ICON are set up that way from the factory for the Raptor. the ICON just has a longer spring. Both shocks in the picture will be about the same as top perch.

I don't know if someone else posted but remember the reason the Icon's have a longer spring is it has an internal bumpstop hence longer shock body and is probably the reason for a longer spring.

And the reason ICON zeta 3.0 shocks will NOT work with RCV axles, right now!
