Justvettin, I noticed you don't have bump stop kit (aftermarket) installed onyour truck and I see Greg is saying that ICONs have internal bump stops. I would think Bump Stops would still be needed. Am I missing something?

You're right I don't have an upgraded bump stop yet. I am still researching which one to get. I would like to keep it all ICON, but they don't have one as of yet.
ICON was recommending the Light racing one but just not a fan of the way it looks.
Not sure what ICON uses on the Raptor that they have.

I will say this... ICON is still running stock springs and bump stops on their test truck with no problems or issues. My personal preference is to have some sort of bump stop or frame protection, just in case..

This ICON setup is amazing! Spent a lot of time at SEMA talking to them about this complete suspension and I'm pretty convinced this is what I'm leaning towards. Looking forward to hearing your review of it once its installed! Nice write up!

Just trying to wrap my head around the way ICON's UCA's work and the correct way to adjust them. So far from what I understand the sleeve part with the holes in it has a slot in it which must line up with the pinch seam before tightening the pinch seam bolts. the collar is actually a cylinder that is threaded on the outside to screw into the UCA and also threaded on the inside so that the Heim can tread into it. If I am correct I think you would adjust the two Heims to approximately the right length before installing the UCA then fine tune with the collar for alignment, but the minimum you can turn the collar is one full rotation so that the pinch seams line up.
I will also post a picture of another style of UCA for comparison.

Sounds like you got it right set the bearing (hiem?) to the proper distance. Then install the UCA. Once installed, the sleeve can be used to find tune the position of the hiem. The slot in the sleeve and the pinch do not need to be aligned. One final position is set, tighten the pinch screws.

I've never installed anything like this, I'm basing my response on what I can see in the photos and the mechanics of the set up. So take my advice with a grain of salt.

ICON will probably chime in.
