Rear passenger side

I installed the passenger side rear shock and it was a breeze only took about 20 minutes and was able to do it without any help. The mount even seemed to need less modifying, go figure one side fights you all the way and the other side could not have been easier.
Took some better pictures of the mount to show the modification and a comparison picture of the ICON beside the OEM Fox shock.

Looks great so far!!

Regarding the front Icons...How will they compare to the ride height of the OEM Fox's? Will they be the same as the lower perch, mid perch or top perch?

Are they adjustable?

Supposedly they come from the factory positioned to be the same height as top perch. You can also adjust ride height up or down with a spanner wrench. The adjustments are from 1" to 3.5", I assume that means 1" to 3.5" over factory height. You can see in the picture a threaded sleeve on the shock that is for the height adjustment. Hopefully the rain will be over soon And I can get these installed.

And according to Brad (aka iconrep) they have had no issues with cv joints with stock icon height settings. If you do not want it that high they can and will choke the spring and lower it.

Also another point/issue since ICON shocks have internal bumpstops and the lower part of the shock body is thicker. Currently, they will NOT WORK with RCV axles! Brad said they will get a set of RCV axles and put them on their truck, to see what if any changes can be made to accommodate RCV axles.

I spent damn near an hour talking to Brad (while he was at SEMA) about their shocks, upper control arms, and power steering reservoir with cooler. I am impressed with ALL his answers to my questions..

Not sure if I understand why the RCV's won't work with the ICONS, are you saying that it will be a clearance issue between the shock and the shaft.

Yes... If you look at the lower portion of the ICON 3.0 coil over verses fox or king. It is tapered more on the bottom of fox and king vs iCON.

RCV spherical joint clears the fox and king, but according to Brad it will not clear ICON. Brad informed me to hold off on the RCV and ICON until they can test and make sure there are no issues.
