The thing is they did include extra wire. it's looped around and taped up. It's shouldn't be too hard once you pull that extra wire out. Are you guys not doing that?

Definitely PITA to do, but I cheated I didn't solder the ones under the dash, only the connections under the hood. It would have been nice if Ford would have just made it a single wire all the way through to under the hood, and if you needed to use one of the Aux switches for some connection in the cab, all you would need to do is splice it. Yep it was definitely a PITA!

I am in the same boat as maxx. Cut a single piece of tape and pull the wires out the side of the dash by the door.

I cut the tape pulled as much as would come out, and no chance it was that long...... Of course I would agree 23,000 in added cost of curse that would be against 23,000 trucks, im guessing..... But the real number is an average cost of 50,000 mine was slightly more some I know are slightly less the big picture is 23,000 dollars against 11.5 billion............ I mean I would pay the extra dam dollar........

I hear ya! That's why I didn't solder and just spliced them for my first two lights (rigid fogs). Such a low draw I didn't think there would be an issue, and they are inside. Even that was a PITA though. Hard to get strippers, crimpers in that small ass space!

Wont be a issue at all since there are only a hand-full of connections that are soldered...
