I'm going to own this truck for at least 5 years, hopefully I can hang onto it and not get bored and keep it for 10 years.
For all this money, and all the time I'll be owning it, holding out on a wait sucks, but worth it in the end IMO because for 1 I have to do ZERO haggling with a dealership, 2. I have to put in no more effort than telling Randy here's what I want, no hours wasted searching up, to haggle, bargain, and fight off trying to get screwed. And 3. I don't have to make ANY compromises, I'm getting exactly what I want, with no less, nothing missing that I really wanted, and no more, nothing extra that I didn't want to pay extra for.
So unless there's a 2012 ordered EXACTLY as I ordered mine, for the EXACT price or less, and LOCAL or no cost for transport, then I'll just have to wait. A few extra weeks in the grand scheme is nothing compared to years of ownership.
Wow, +1 again. Get outta my head. Are we twins seperated at birth (do you have a big nose, if so.....hi bro). The main reason I am staying the course now is twofold. I keep vehicles for a long time. I STILL love my 98 Durango and will keep this thing forever too. I went with the dealer that I did (even though I am only 300 miles from Randy) because this dealer is a close and personal friend. The dealer has done what they can, it's just a waiting game now, love the avitar.
