But again, as @goblues38 said, what stops anyone who's driving around and sees your truck in person from getting the exact same information that you're trying to block by blurring out the plates online? If some thief who lives in the same area as you sees your truck in person, I'd guess they'd be much more likely to look up whatever info they can find online and come pay you a visit compared to a thief on the internet who lives hundreds (or thousands) of miles away...on modded vehicles I kinda get it, might make it easier to track down for an enterprising thief that knows exactly what you have on your truck. Also I think in the past you could get a lot more info with a tag# but I believe they've changed a lot/cracked down on that kind of info.
