How much y'all putting down for deposit

1000 down, refundable. I'm thinking my dealer is now hoping I back out of it!

I paid MSRP as soon as the order banks were out, first to order. He told me later that they have lots of people that want to order but only have an initial allocation of 6.

I'm thinking the only way anyone would lose a non-refundable deposit is if they just back out or can't secure the funds to buy it when it comes in.

$500 down, refundable. I 100% plan on buying the truck but other dealers offered me similar deals with non refundable deposits and I felt a little uneasy about that. I don't mind giving the deposit because they're going to be spending time between placing the order and delivery updating me and looking for more info on certain things. I'm sure the deposit is also peace of mind that they won't be wasting there time with my questions down the road.

I have never paid more then $500 for a deposit. I have ordered 3 vehicles from factory.

I'm in the exact same with the dealer. They tried the mark-up/demand talk and we were able to agree w/o. Initial allocation of 3.
I was the second order, but the first order had not yet brought their deposit, so I could be their first order?

Dealer wanted 5000, i pulled out 2000 he grabbed it and ran like he stole it! Here in new york it's illegal to keep your deposit.
