Rather than start a new thread I have a related question. For those who use a separate switch for the horn, what type of momentary switch do you use? Since I am way past out of auxiliary switches I a, looking for a dedicated air horn switch. Most horn switches are big/ugly. Are most just using an on/off style switch like the up fitter or is anyone using a momentary push button style switch?

I used upfiitter #1 for the compressor power. Off of that I ran a fuse holder with a 15 amp fuse to the pressure switch and to a relay to switch the horn button output from the OEM horn to the train horn solenoid.

Lab - for night raptor, I am using my second aux 2 switch. One thing to keep in mind when using that style switch vs a push button switch, it's easy to bump when working on the truck. Lol.... and I'm sure a few mechanics have shit themselves as well fiddling around with those switches. Lol...

For Little Red, I tapped into the stock horn with an in line kill switch. This works well cause if the alarm goes off, it's the air horn.

You do want to have a dedicated switch for the compressor. They shouldn't run when the truck is off.

After @Rookie sold me the Nightmare Horn Blaster kit I mounted my horns to a piece of flat aluminum, then used self tapping screws and mounted that under the bed. I have the DD exhaust so I used the muffler mount bolt to secure the business ends of the horns.

Then I used angled aluminum to make brackets for my air tank and used the Amazon bracket to mount the compressor to my BakBox.

That broomstick you see in the pic is my squeegee handle. When you're 68" it becomes necessary if you want a clean windshield.
