Why not mount the tank/compressor on the frame rail?
Figured it'd last longer in the bed. It's easier to connect an air hose with the tank in the bed too.

Makes sense, I was just curious. I've had 2gal tank & compressor mounted on my frame for 3yrs with no issue, compressor is even mounted 90deg from normal.
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind if I ever need the bed space.
