I have a 2018 and it was my first install prior to the cold air intake, truck had about 500 miles on it. It was totally worth it, it smoothed out the turbo lag and hit, noticeable power increase and better throttle response. The CAI had a slight notice, but the SPDs were easily noticed.
I had a shop do mine, as it wasn't worth my time to do it and crack knuckles (there are plenty of youtube install videos of wincing pain associated with these installs).
Anyone that knows turbo engines can tell you that big gains can be had from the turbos to the cats and in downtubes (even without tunes), this should be a given. The SPDs are slightly smaller than the Mountain Top and AMS, however when I compared them the SPD look quite a bit thicker, which should help for longevity from heat distortion.
