Re above, as I mentioned the sound comment came from testers in Dearborn where they have several of the trucks..as you mention, they are making the engines in Cleveland and my OH friend has no first hand experience with the sound installed in the truck.

Agree, far too many people arguing over this engine and other various things. I'm actually a bit surprised by all of the V8 "sound" bias, but hey, it is what it is.

All will be fine and I'm sure this truck with ALL of the improvements, will be a huge hit for Ford.

I don't have a GEN 1 but I'm ordering a GEN 2 because they don't make GEN 1 trucks any more, I would love to have a V8 but GEN 2 is a TTV6, so that's what you have to buy! If the GEN 1 guys hate the GEN 2 why are they on the GEN 2 Forum? Please Stop Hating! Don't You See Your Tearing This Family Apart!

Regarding the Gen2, I have actually considered getting one. It won't be ordered though. It will be bought right off the lot once all this craziness calms down. Why, because I have a Raptor now and I won't pay anywhere near what people are paying for them now. I did'nt order my current Raptor, and saved thousands because of that.

Please don't consider purchasing one! I am potentially planning on purchasing a Gen2 (once all actual specs are out) and I would hate to even know you have the same type of vehicle as me. And you damn sure lost any potential business from me and I'm sure just about every other planned Gen2 owner in these threads. Smart move
