Ford needs to add a Dynojet option on the Dora. That way it's paid for and when you receive your truck, just schedule a dyno run from a local Tuning shop.

Lets see if Levine replies.. haha

update 1: He liked it... So I guess that means we're on our own for figuring out the power!

Well, after 17 pages of naysayers, trash talkers, and those arguing over their speculation, it sounds like the info I got was pretty accurate on the engine specs after all ;)
I just got some pics I thought you guys might like to see. Here are raptor heads being built, pic taken today. 4 valves and two injectors per cylinder. I can't wait to get this truck!! :head3:

How many valves and injectors per cylinder in F 150 ecoboost ?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

4 valves and 1 injector per cylinder on the current 3.5L Ecoboost. The redesigned 3.5L Ecoboost for 2017 will now have 2 injectors as well, direct and port injection.

I wonder how many, if any of the V8 huggers have ever driven even a regular V6 ecoboost engine?

My current daily drive is an AWD gen 1 ecoboost and there isn't much I can't leave in the dust from a stop.

I figure most of the V8 huggers will change their minds once folks start getting their trucks and the drama is over.

As stated above, look at the TQ curve of the ecoboost vs. ANY V8. It pulls hard early and for long time.

Me not a naysayer!! In July I posted in this thread that Ford wasn't releasing the Raptor with lower number than 500. They worked hard to get it over 500... Still have a few buddies in power-train calibration :)
