Good evening community,

After having replaced a leaking radiator, coolant hoses and thermostat I am having some weird electrical issues with my Gen 1. The first indication was a rapidly flashing turn signal (only right side), so I thought maybe its a bad bulb... while I continued driving it decided to go back to normal. The issue was intermittent and I noticed that it came/went away when I continued turning the steering wheel past the 12 o'clock position.

This evening, coming back from work, I tried to remote start the Raptor. Initially it fired up, then immediately shut down and the alarm went off - very odd. Unlocked/locked and tried again, it did not want to start remotely, then gave me the standard honk..

The weather was pretty bad, windshield all foggy and full of moisture so I decided to turn on the wipers - nothing... also the right turn signal was flashing rapidly again. I got out, checked the headlights and discovered the blinker bulb not blinking. While I was already thinking about cleaning the windshield by hand, I thought, lets turn the steering wheel and see if it comes back to life - to my surprise it did. Wipers and right TS was working again. On my way home, I switched on my aux fog lights (wired to aux switch 4) and discovered only one side working and intermittently switching of, same as the wipers.

Troubleshooting: checked the fuse boxes, checked the R TS bulb, checked and wiggled the wiring everywhere in the engine bay, looked near the steering rack, wheels, checked the ground connections, checked the interior near the steering wheel and dashboard but couldn't find anything odd, loose, broken, binding or in the way of any steering component.

I did another test drive and noticed that mainly at slow speeds when turning to the left (near 12 o clock position), the fog lights start flickering or quitting, blinker flashing rapidly (only right) and wipers to stop working, also I noticed at the same moment that all aux switches have a weak backlighting (not in use). As soon as I wiggle the steering wheel around and everything starts working again, the backlighting extinguished as well. I moved the steering wheel around from corner to corner a few times and it seems to temporarily fix the issue. Definitely a very very odd and annoying thing.

Forscan gave me:

- B13180 Steering Wheel Right Switch Pack :17 Circuit Voltage Above Threshold
- B1131 Wiper module :08 Bus signal/Message failures
- U2101 Control Module Configuration Incomplete

As soon as I clear them and not move the wheel, no codes are present. They obviously come back when the wheel (not always) is turned and the problems come up.

Does anybody have any idea what I might be dealing with? Bad blinker switch, clock spring or module - broken wires even? I don't have any more ideas and getting really annoyed.
