Rod ends being replaced and rack gonna get rebuilt. Thanks guys

When was the last time you replaced your rod ends?
Where did you get the new rod ends from? I just bought a set from summit racing.
Here are the part numbers.

They carry the 1" UCA spherical bearing too, so I ordered it as well.

I may have struck out on Option A with the rod ends so I was looking into Oxford's recommendation. Same part numbers and a hair cheaper.

I put these on with the Stage IV, about 35K miles ago. How long did you get out of yours?

Wondering if should replace the clevis at the same time? Do those wear?

The outer was $65 each, inner $49 each.
I'm findings that they need replaced about every other year. Would be better to replace once a year if you had the deep pockets and time to do it.

Last time I changed them, I added the ****** (rubber booty) to the outer hiem and some electrical grease. It seems to have helped keep the affects of the winter salt and water from affecting it.

Oh, and I wouldn't worry about the clevis. It should be fine.

Whoa!! Cardone has 2-3 month turnaround on rebuilds. So there goes that idea. Reman'd rack will be at O'Reilley's in the morning. $270 with core exchange.

After 84K miles, with 37" BFG Projects, and many offroad miles, my rack finally went out......

The best deal I found .....

$351.00 from buyautoparts.com out of San Diego

$150.00 Core if you choose, my plan is to rebuild my stock unit for a spare.

There are different models for the Scab and Screw.
