I was luck enough to win this at snoball and have a few questions. First I want to thank Chris at freedom motorsports for giving it. I am going to order the lid and a Donaldson air filter. I should right???? Also I want to keep the air box that says 6.2 on top of the engine. I thought I reads thread showing how to do this once but I can't seem to find it. Is this possible??

It is possible by trimming the intake tube in 1 - 2 places and using silicone couplers to give you a little extra wiggle room. While this will reduce overall intake noise, the factory air box (the thing that says 6.2 on it) is one of the sources of restriction so it's possible you won't reap the full benefits of the intake by doing it that way.

I have the AFE cai and I am looking at putting in a Donaldson Powercore filter, it looks like the only one that will fit is this one: VOLANT® 61515 - Donaldson's® PowerCore™ Filtration Technology Air Filter
The AFE filter housing doesn't look like it will fit the 8" Powercore, I think the 6" one should give plenty of air??

That is the correct Powercore filter that will retrofit into the aFe Stage II
