Nice wording... Spoken like a true tech.

Ha ha ha... Well, theres no way on the internet to diagnose these types of issues. Its not like it use to be where you can say, ok, first check for fuel pressure, then you check for spark. Its best to not mess with it at all, call the Ford dealer and have it picked up but, it the PRNDL switch is off a bit and its not totally in park its a easy check.

Also if it turns out to be a PRNDL switch problem, you can take off the console cover and push down the little white bypass switch and it should start.

Had my Raptor flat bedded to the local dealer, replacing the PCM tomorrow. The truck is a year old and has less than 8k miles, never been off road, and the engine is stock. I' m really hoping this is just a fluke and not going to be the beginning of recurring problems.

That's pretty crazy, I hope that it doesn't act up like that anymore

Very uncommon issue, should be quick fix with no ill effects.

With all the electronics our sweet machines have, it might be a great idea to pay for the extended mile warranty hon?!..... Seems as if the electronics are a much greater concern these days, just my opinion.
