Help Me Decide - SuperCab or SuperCrewCab?

My bladder usually tells me I need to stop before my low fuel light does.

Exactly..!!! Those young guys might be able to hold out and wait to unfill when they fill-up...but 26 gallons is more than plenty...26x14mpg,364 miles..70 mph...little over 5 hrs...yeah...I'm more than ready...LOL..!! 36 gallons = 7+ hrs...no way...
I've drove from LA to Seattle area straight thru appx.19hrs....and looked forward to my fill-ups and Unfills...

If we follow the logic of not needing 36 gallons to the next level, most people on this forum do not “need” a Raptor at all! But since we like to live high on the hog, we might as well have the oversized gas tank to fit our oversized trucks...

On long trips I like to make the decision when to stop, rather than my truck telling me because I am getting low on gas, yet again. So I do NEED IT. LOL

EXACTLY...no one NEEDS a Raptor..but we sure love owning one...!

I do like the more compact look of the SCAB better, but that wasn't enough for me to buy it over the SCREW. The larger gas tank, significantly more room to put stuff you don't want in the bed, and I do have rear seat passengers often enough. I also like the pano roof which isn't an option in the SCAB

My last truck a 04' Titan 2wd was a KingCab(SCAB) and it worked out great as it was pretty much just my son and I. I had traded in my 98' Extra Cab Ranger so the Titans extra cab compared to the Rangers was huge...many desert runs with 2 bikes in bed and all our riding gear in the back secure and dry. Had a 28 gal tank so still pretty good range (mileage was terrible on that tuned 5.6L) and the rear doors open very far..
When it came to the new Raptor I now wanted to carry 4 in comfort so that was the driving issue...bigger tank and higher tow rating was just a couple of nice upgrades..
The SCAB looks better to me then the SCREW, and for my advanced rock crawling would be better...So what?

You get the truck that fits your needs and who cares if some guys like something different...their both still Raptors!

Well of course, why would i recommend something i can't vouch for, i don't want, or don't have.

3 sons (2 over 6 feet), wife and dog went 4k miles around southwest this summer in a SCREW. Didn't try Moab's Hells Revenge (wife shut down), but went other trails and sure loved the luxury, room and comfort when combined with off-road capibility. Pulled a small trailer around most of it, but loved the ability to disconnect and run the White Rim trail in Canyonlands. Aimed for, but couldn't locate, a sunroof delete (afraid of sqeaks and wanted every bit of headroom) but honestly will never ever forget entering Zion canyon from Bryce and staring straight up at the granite formations above (through the sunroof.)

Sooo 1) if you need the room get the SCREW. 2) Even if you end up getting some stuff (like the sunroof) you didn't want, Raptor ownership will still be one of your better life experiences. 3) Really loved that you like the looks of the SCAB and think it is REALLY important to be proud of your rig cause the payment genie shows up every month regardless. Have fun with this and dont overthink it. You an always sell it and buy a different one.

I have had both, and I still vote for the SCREW! (with no kids!)

I wish they made a regular cab Raptor, but I can live with the supercab
