Help from guys with 5star tune

Going to buy tunes from mike at 5 star was wondering what flash device every body is using or what tuner is highly recommended. Pros cons etc. thanks

Why not just go with the 5 pre-loaded custom tunes and tuner from Mike?

I have the SCT X3 with 5 Star tunes. That's all you need really, but the step up would be the Livewire which is like a tablet style.

I have the livewire and love it. When you fuel up you can change the tune by the time you are full. Very convenient.

If having the most features makes something the "best," then yes.

The SCT Livewire TS and the SCT X3 (being replaced by they X4) are going to do the same thing for you from a tune/driveability standpoint. The Livewire has a color LCD touchscreen, is easier to use, has a few more bells and whistles, and is also more expensive. If you only want a tuner, get an X3/X4. If you want a tuner and the ability to display vehicle information and/or additional camera inputs, get the Livewire.

I do believe the new X4 is going to include a windshield suction cup mount like the Livewire, so I guess you could use it like a Livewire if you wanted. The X4 isn't as aesthetically pleasing as the Livewire, so if I was going to keep it mounted full time I'd get the Livewire.
