If I remember they just tied back to the stock or aftermarket, not sure if it was before or after cats

Ahhhhh, Try 90lbs. 35" tires on a 5.0 and see what you get.

And a 5.0 is not doing 586rwhp @ 8.5lbs. of Boost either.

There is a thread already "Show your Dyno Numbers"

640whp at 8psi hellion tt 2013 5.0
Just for reference and to see the difference.
This was when we just put the kit on and tuned the mustang.

ya pretty much what I've been looking at , the torque is the same or better at 2200, I would think you should get an extra 60lbsft out of the 6.2 as the 4v heads on the 5.0 will out hp the 6.2 on the top end?
Same trans , heavier driveline , If I win the lotto I would love to spend a week or 2 at the dyno with the 6.2

The 6.2 got plenty of development time, but it was directed toward making truck power, not high rpm power.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for contacting us.

Pricing on the Raptor kit is as follows:

Complete kit: *$8,995. *Includes Precision 62mm CEA billet wheel turbos, Ford Racing 47lb fuel injectors, SCT X4 handheld programmer, base 6-7psi base tune, tuning support, large air-air intercooler, Turbosmart CompGate40 wastegates, Turbosmart VeePort Pro blow off valves, all stainless steel piping, oil feed and drain lines, silicones hoses, clamps, connectors, hardware, etc.

Tuner kit: *$8,145. *Same components as complete kit except injectors, programmer, and tuning are not included.

Our baseline pull on a stock Raptor netted 330rwhp. *At 7psi we made 549rwhp.. *These numbers were through the factory catalytic converters. *Here is a video of one of the pulls: *https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151935595551059&set=vb.91200346058&type=2&theater That pull was at 13psi on a stock motor. *However, this was for testing purposes only and we recommend building the motor at these higher boost levels.

Optional upgrades to the system can be found here: *2011 - 2014 SVT Raptor Twin Turbo System

I am waiting on some dyno sheet from our tuner. *Once I have them I will forward them to you.

If you have any questions just let me know.

Thanks,

Jeff

I thought the issue wasn't power or torque but how the manifolds route under the truck. Id be more concerned about crushing something than what kind of power I could make bc even if your only goal is to be a dyno queen your driving a bomb with the stock internals.

^^^^ compared to the whipple it's not half bad...

Going off of the whipple charts on the internet, it looks like the whipple makes 450ft/lbs+ at 2500 RPM and above - the Hellion gets there somewhere between 3500 and 4000. With a 5500 redline, it seems significant.

A friend of mine had a supra that behaved like this - was pretty amazing when power kicked in (nothing like breaking the wheels loose at 80+mph) but was a bit doggy until then.
