Huck did u have a constant shutter at the wheel or only when braking? just wondering cause I get the shutters when braking. and that's making me believe I need brakes. not a rack...

ps hope the install goes well!

Shutter was constant over 40 mph, and even worse upon braking. Really had to grab the wheel. Thought it was wheel balance, or alignment. Got both set and shutter was still bad. Checked Rpg tie rod ends and all. Ended up leaning on the disk and saw the rack move when I had the boot off

I'll post the video of the slop when I get home.

Also had a really bad creaking noise when turning in a parking lot or onto streets.

Finally got my iPad cup holder mount from Ram Mount so I can use the GPS mapping software while driving. Down to waiting for the shackles (last of the critical items) to arrive.

Also, waiting on custom license plate (not a critical item) to arrive :flamingdevil:

I'm a little curious to see if the guys who are strapping the spare down the the bed end up putting a crease in the bottom of the bed like I ended up doing at Little Sahara.

Since sadly, I missed on signing up for Havok.

Lets discuss getting ready for the greatest Raptor run on the planet.

What have you done to get prepared?

What's completed?

What do you have left to do?

Do you have all of the GLRE run requirements met yet?

Will you be partaking in the night run?

What supporting vendors have you supported??

If camping, what's your set up?

GLRE Support Raptor
GREAT LAKES RAPTOR EXCURSIONS

Done to prep:
Wheels, tires, new bumper, new lights, CAI, tune and more I am sure I forgot to list.

Completed:
Most of the above list. Rest by Friday.

Left to do:
wiring lots and lots of wiring. alignment

Requirements met:
Yep, long ago. But new stuff is fun.

Night run:
Damn straight have to try out even more new Whelen lights.

Supporting vendors:
WSI, Freedom Motorsports specifically for this run.
Would have spent a lot more but when people won't deliver product so others can sell it... well you give up on them again.

Camping:
Comfort Inn, wife said no to camping.

^ Mark, you and the wife should stop by camp for a bit.
Looking forward to checking out this new bumper.

Haven't heard of any issues. I had mine strapped at TRR. And no issue. I was on it pretty good. Now I do have lots of dents in my bed.

So much still to do and so little time.
