I'm a little curious to see if the guys who are strapping the spare down the the bed end up putting a crease in the bottom of the bed like I ended up doing at Little Sahara.

Since sadly, I missed on signing up for Havok.

^ Mark, you and the wife should stop by camp for a bit.
Looking forward to checking out this new bumper.

Haven't heard of any issues. I had mine strapped at TRR. And no issue. I was on it pretty good. Now I do have lots of dents in my bed.

Better get busy!

I have to strap mine in the bed... Whats the best way not to damage the bed or the rim/spare?

Buy the aforementioned d-rings this bolt into the bed bolts. Sit the tire flat and cross strap it down. It won't move.

Here are the rings. They are a dodge part number. I don't have it, but if you search the havoc thread you will find it.

I bottomed out pretty hard from an little overzealous jump at little Sahara. Its only noticable if the light is just right.

I for guys pitting the tire strapped down in the bed, pickup the D rings to a dodge sprinter van. Its what I have. I use the factory rear floor mat as a non skid and impact absorbing pad under the tire.

At 34 seconds is where I hit bottom... on the front and back.

The big jump. - YouTube

My sunglasses came off my face and ended up under my feet when I landed. It's a good example of what a lawn dart is.

I ordered 7 of those rings put 6 on each bed bolt and one in the center for y 3-way tire strap to hold the spare. It works great to hold that spare down really well! This is my setup for now

Can I just go to dodge to pick those up or do I need to order them? We only have a few days left and IDK if they will be here in time

I'm gonna tie down my spare tire with $9.99 ratchet straps from the Home Depot, toss my unwrapped recovery strap in my back seat and off I go. Prep time: 7 minutes.
