Stopped in to check on my truck tonight. While I was talking to the mechanic my oldest daughter laughed when he asked if I was going to change something else on the truck soon. She said "he is going to change every bolt before long". Kid may have a point. Mod fever doesn't get better after each "last mod"

I went to West Marine (or any trailer shop)and picked up some galvinized tie down brackets for a trailer. They're extremely solid but they don't fold down like the ones from Dodge. Just another option if you can't find those or don't like going to Dodge dealerships.

I'm gonna tie down my spare tire with $9.99 ratchet straps from the Home Depot, toss my unwrapped recovery strap in my back seat and off I go. Prep time: 7 minutes.
