Good Price????

Thanks everyone for the feed back on the price.

Birdman, I did take a look at the link, but wasnt sure if it would apply to my location, Hartford CT. I know prices vary across the country.

I did go to Edmunds.com and truecar.com, and they're showing that what I was quoted is above market valve. Now thinking this dealer is trying to take me for every penny they can.

If they wont go any lower I will just go elsewhere.

I dont think many people have been able to beat HARLEY6LF250SDU
deals yet..

i'm up in MA and got mine for 3k under msrp. don't let them play you as if this is some super limited production truck or something. my dealer at first wouldn't even let me drive one unless i was gonna buy it. i flipped it and said i won't buy it unless i can drive it.

i agree with you on this one BUT he should not pay anymore than 1000 over invoice and that isnt even close to the price of 53000

I think you're missing the fact that his $54k price factors in tax and license. In my county out here in CA we have 8.25% sales tax so he'd be getting right at invoice price. To the OP, what is your sales tax rate?

Randy does a great "no haggle" price of $3000 off MSRP. Then you're responsible for paying your tax and license locally.

That's right the price includes everything, a unit with all the bells and whistles including TT&L, tax here is 6%.

UPDATE: Sales guy called me today, saying he can get me one in a week, he found a dealer that has one coming in and he can work out a deal with that dealer, the only difference with that unit is that it has the hood graphics, which I don't particularly care about, and its another few hundred bucks.

It sounds like you're getting a good deal. I'd go for it. It will save you a lot of waiting.

Ordered it

I managed to talk them down another $2500 off the price, so I went ahead and did the paperwork to order it. I should have it in a few days, its in the distribution yard in new york somewhere waiting to be loaded on to a truck. Snow storm kind of slowed things down, UGH!!!!!!
