$12.5 is a lot cheaper than I’ve seen them. I’ve offered $5K over, they laugh.

I have a dealer who sold to me at msrp. The only caveat is you go on the list and get it when you get it. Mine is scheduled for delivery in just a few weeks now. If you are willing to wait 10-15months.. They can be had at msrp. (custom ordered as well).

Like you, I have a 2014 that’s been a great truck. I have over $
150k miles on her and while I have a number of vehicles, she’s been the most reliable and the one I liked to drive the most.

I held onto her due to the V8 and she does double duty as one of my tow vehicles. When I bought her, I switched out the Fox stuff and rigged her with Icon shocks, upper arms, bumpstops, Dever Springs and never looked back.

Last July, I found a deal on a new loaded R in Illinois and had her shipped out. I still have both trucks, but dang, the new R is a kick to drive…, although some software gremlins can pop up once in a while.

I have no plans to sell the 14’, although my son borrowed it a few months ago and it hasn’t made it back to the warehouse, so it’ll probably be an arm wrestling match to get it back.

That said, really happy with the R purchase, just wish someone would come out with a winch and bumper set up for the R.

It’s definitely frustrating to see such high markups over MSRP. To find a better price, you could try contacting multiple dealers outside of Los Angeles where the demand might be lower. You can also look for any upcoming promotions or reach out to dealers offering “no markup” sales. Another option is to explore online car marketplaces or connect with other buyers in forums to get leads on lower-priced Raptor Rs.
