Again I appreciate your interest in this thread and you are welcome to post YOUR opinions on the matter, but I will not respond or engage with someone who does not have civility or is educated enough to carry on a civil conversation or post without trolling.

If you do not like the thread, then do not participate in it. You can go find another thread to troll in.

LOL, your assertions about the Raptor are so ridiculous that under most circumstances I'd assume you are deliberately trolling. Unfortunately for you, it seems like you are 100% sincere and actually believe what you are saying.

Congratulations on your raptor. Don't take this the wrong way, but you could not own a raptor in a worse location than you do. I myself are similar to you on the east coast, just my congestion is a lot less in coastal maine. Great truck, wrong and terrible location. I'm not being negative because I know all about it.

I actually feel ford should not even stock the raptor on dealers lots northeast of texas or east of Michigan. Special order only.

Okay, now youre just ******* with us

Yep, the ME120 appears to be one of those liberal socialist types who thinks they should decide what everyone in the country can and can't do. I prefer the option to recommend that it (me120) should be throat cut at sunrise, allowed to bleed out on the ground and left for the peta(****)-protected animals to come and dine on him in the evening, so as not to let the worthless meat carcass go to waste...

I sure hope it hasn't reproduced more examples of itself...

I am one of the few gals that prefers a truck over a car. I have owned several trucks in the past and my previous truck was a '16 F150. I always loved the Raptor, but was thinking conservatively on spending that much money for one. However, I do have the means and went ahead and bought a brand new '19 Crew Cab in Velocity Blue with a moonroof. Love the truck and it is my daily driver that will be used 100% on pavement. I bought more for the looks than need. You only live once and buy what you enjoy rather than need or practicality!

I am very sorry you feel that way. I didn't intend for this to turn out to be like the 2015-2016 republican debates. This thread was only intended to see how other raptor owners use their raptor and where they use their raptor, really focusing on area's that do not have access to places that have deserts and wide open area's to utilize the truck for what it was actually built for.

Again I'M sorry you feel the way you do, and by the way I voted for president Trump in 2016, but that is a whole another conversation as unfortunately I believe his historic run is coming to a end in 2020. And by the way I went to 5 trump rally's in 2016. But I guess that makes me a liberal.

Actually I am not. Only my opinion. This is my second raptor, and like I listed all the reasons I love the truck, but don't know if the east coast is the ideal utilization for a ford raptor.

It isnt a "dessert only" truck that only works in the dessert, and therefore anywhere without a dessert is stupid.

Its an F150 with better suspension. thats about it.

I find it excels on Maines ****** dirt roads, frost heaves, trails, offroad parks, lakes, etc.

Because you only drive yours on smooth pavement, you think it should be special order for the entire east coast? That train of thought makes my head want to explode. How close minded is that way of thinking? You look at yourself as the gold standard for 1/4 of the country? the ****?

Again I didn't mean to bruise ego's. And you are very welcomed to your opinion. And I do not know what part of maine you are from, but I live right on the coast, and this is my second raptor so I am not a hater of the truck. As I stated in the opening thread I listed at least 7 reasons why I love the Raptor, although I feel it is a poor choice for a majority of east coast truck owners because when you pay the price you pay for a raptor and only utilize 30-50 percent of what it was built for it kind of seems like a waste. Think about it, it's like using a D-8 cat bulldozer to build a driveway when you could use a much more efficient D-3 Cat bulldozer for the application and size of the job.

In response to your comment, " it only works in the desert", I never said that. Again there are a few area's in Maine, and I mean very few, where you might utilize 50 percent of the trucks intended use, and you may actually live in one of those locations , but I do not.

You certainly would not last long in business using the wrong tools for the application.
