Yea, plus I got the truck with 14k miles on it (from a Ford dealer), and I’m guessing $61.5k on a trade is as good as it will get. Which I’m ok with.

Buyback is really only if you have chronic unresolved issues over a period of time. You may be able to push Ford on it, but the path of least resistance is the one you're on. You can browse the forum and find topics (including several recent ones) on the buyback process for direct information and some anecdotes.
It's laborious and lengthy, to say the least.
Thanks for the updates. Curious to see how this all plays out for you
I'm curious, if you ordered PB, did you also get the Blue Recaro interior? The interior is a must for me, but just not sure how the Blue on Blue will work.
Thanks!
I’ve never owned an American made car before the Raptor. All Toyota’s and a Nissan GT-R. Now I’m 3 months into my first Ford, and this,
Oh well, first world problems
Sorry for the delayed reply, just returned from a business trip.
Yes, I went with the blue interior. I'm sure it won't be an exact match to the outside, but I doubt that will bother me. My entire reason for wanting the blue/recaro/CF interior is because the inside of a Raptor is very much a standard F150 (which I already drive). The accent package sets it apart.
I honestly would have rather had the orange, but oh well... The blue certainly looks pretty badass too.
Thanks for the updates. It's a bummer you're having to go through this, but fwiw I've been driving a '16 XLT like it was stolen for the past three years, and I just encountered my first issue: The windshield wipers randomly turn on. It happened right after the update to Sync 3.0, so I'm sure the two are connected. Ford really should stay out of IT... They're absolutely awful at it.
But the moral is, Ford sells more pickups than any other manufacturer for a reason: They're well built, they last, and imo they're just a step ahead of the other guys (Except IT). Your situation sucks, but that's what warranties are for and you're definitely in the minority. You'll probably get hit my lightning before you have the same problem with your '19.
