I am right there with you. I moved to a white Raptor from a black 4-runner and miss the black every time I see one.

Ha! Yea, with how I change my mind so much, I'm always liking the other colors around town when I see them.

There is a New Owner thread that the guy just purchased a black and he posted some pics....They have me second guessing since they black looks so nice.

If both blue and black were sitting on a lot next to each other, I'd still probably take blue. But it would be nice to have a truck for the next two months!

Whenever I get the urge to jump the gun on a decision because I'm being impatient, I have to remind myself if the short-lived amount of time where that decision was applicable will be worth it in the long run.

Yeah, the two months without a truck will suck, especially once winter hits. But you're going to own the truck for years, so I'd go with the color you like and wait it out.

This is actually pretty similar to almost every time I fly. I look at my economy seat reservation, then I look at the cost to upgrade to business/first class. I've been VERY tempted on several occasions, but ultimately always kept my economy seat. After the trip, I'm much happier to have the money in my pocket than the short-lived gratification.

Though I'm certainly not advocating for either color, necessarily; Just whichever you like best. My current black truck, when fully detailed and spotless is as sharp as it gets..... As long as I keep it parked in my driveway.

See, you sounds like a smart and patient guy, haha. I'm not much of either of those because when I pay for first class, I always love myself for paying extra, :rotflmao:

But yea, you're probably right. I've got a 2012 Tacoma that will work fine until January.

Thanks for speaking some sense into me :favorites13:

Update:

Got my truck back yesterday and so far, so good. Aside from a bunch of random grease handprints, it's pretty much normal.

I flirted with the idea of keeping it, but more than likely, I will still go for the 19.

The plan is to clean it all up on Saturday and take it to my dealer who ordered the 2019.
