Ha so crazy you guys park your truck for winter. For me it’s the biggest single reason to have one. What do you guys drive instead during the winter months ?
I got a 2010 Equinox AWD 4 cyl. for $2000 on my way home from work last month.
(Figured out a few fixes, and should get me to work and back until spring. Last two years was a 2009 Lincoln MKX AWD. That was much nicer and a Ford product. Daughter has that as her 1st car now. Neighbor walking his dogs this morning commented on a Chevy in my driveway as blasphemy :) Told him it was CHEAP and it IS winter.)
My truck is a bit of a Unicorn in my area.
It still has cab corners and rockers.
One or two winters of salt and chloride would dissolve them.
Should I tell you how many years I have been storing my 1996 Bronco??
One winter would eat that alive too.
Rschap1, please tell me the secret to getting 100 dollar tires from Walmart. Inquiring minds want to know
Keep an eye out.
I check frequently after seeing and missing some deals.
About 6 months ago I saw the Goodyear Territories for like $104.
Not really after those, or my first choice, but...CHEAP too.
It was end of the day at work.
Thought about it and checked when I got home.
By the time I looked again - GONE.
Just have to hit when they are closing something out.

Lots of different places
Ben bb, I removed the seat and did the work on the bench. I bought hog ring pliers and rings, but when I removed the cover, I didn't see any from the factory. I separated the back and bottom. Just a few bolts and 1 torx bit for the seat controls. Be careful removing the controls, the panel is easy to break. My seats aren't ventilated, but that was the only seat foam I could find. I didn't disconnect the electric to the back, as I was only doing the seat bottom.
Thanks! Yeah that panel was already cracked on mine by the previous owner, good time to finally replace it heh.
