Installed a Ford Performance Rear Diff cover. As others have said, great quality, more stout and more lube capacity. I did this at 390 miles and had no problem removing the OEM cover. The surface rust came off easily with green Scotch-Brite pad. I flushed the remaining oil with an extra quart if AMSOIL, just very **** retentive.
Took me 2 1/2 hours. Took advantage of the spear wheel being removed and cleaned it/coated with Nyalic.
The instructions call to torque the bolts to 25 lbs, but everything I read and videos said 14lbs, so I opted with 14lbs.

some limited-slip axles require addition of Friction Modifier, Part Number XL-3 meeting Ford specification EST-M2C118-A. Refer to Workshop Manual or Owner’s Guide.
Did any one add the Friction Modifier....??
