PSA: Check bolts on FP rear diff cover

Hey everyone

Was poking around underneath yesterday and decided to check the torque on the rear diff cover. Sure enough, there were at least half of them that were loose. No leaks.

I remember reading a post on here that said that rear diff bolts can come loose. Also when I took my rear diff cover off last year to paint it, some bolts were loose.

Anyone with a Ford Performance rear diff cover check the torque on the bolts.

I don’t think so but it’s not a bad idea.

The supplied bolts are like made of wax as many reported shearing the head off.

A better grade bolt and removable LocTite would be a wise thing to do.
