Never used one... How good do they work? Would hate to put fresh oil in and after it runs a few minutes have it appear darker than it should. Just never used one but willing to try it especially with this Truck.

Oil extractors are the bomb. In every car I've used it on so far, it gets as much (or more) oil than draining the pan. You essentially shove a tube down the dipstick into the oil pan, pump and wait. It's mess free and you never need to undo the drain plug. No spill, no mess. This is the one I use: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002SR7TC/?tag=fordraptorforum-20

Unlikely to work. The drain plug is a quarter twist affair and so the "thread" is fairly coarse. Google "Ford Plastic Cam Locking Drain Plug BC3Z‑6730" and you'll get an idea how different these drain plugs are.

I checked with Fumoto and they confirmed that it won't work and they are not currently developing one. Sad face.

I have an electric pump, which drains directly into a oil recycle container. It takes a while to pump all of the oil out, but it is completely mess free... except when you have to change the oil filter.

People don't believe in oil extractors I see... makes life easy.

oh hell yeah. I love my mityvac and use it for a variety of things. Plan to use it with the Raptor as well.

Bump on this

What's a good price for this unit? Cheapest I've been able to find is $95.

Pump it 10 times, no more than 20 (very easy to do) walk away and the oil is in the canister when you return. Best invention ever. I walked into West Marine and purchased one off the floor.

Had Art Hill Ford in Indiana perform my first oil change. 2 hours for a 30 min oil change/tire rotation, one stripped lug nut later, which they actually attempted to charge me for, and I was out the door. (NEVER AGAIN!!!!) They do have an AG Screw and one fully loaded Black Screw (Including Carbon Fiber) if you're willing to donate an extra $10K over MSRP.
