I went with a dmh electric cut out and was wondering where everyone with them put the switch and where you tapped the power from? I know I can't use the factory installed switches (that sucks) but looking for ideas. Its supposed to be in tomorrow. I went with the Y pipe instead of cutting into the side. $199.99 w/ free shipping, customer service on order was top notch, talked to the owner and he was a really straight up guy. I hope I like it as much as I think I will. Happy birthday to me!

I put mine between the dash and the AUX switches. The AUX switch box comes off if you press on the front and back side and lift up. Then all you have to do is unhook 3 group of wires and the whole thing is yours. You can't even see it and its very clean looking.

I went with your idea, it is pretty slick and completely hidden, I wired into the lighter for my power right above the switch. Only bad thing, I was about a foot shy on wire to get to the cutout. I was gonna weld it in myself but chickened out and deciced to take it to the muffler shop.....

Yeah I like the Clean look! You can't see it unless you really get up on it. Mine was a little shy of getting all the way to the cutout to but thats because I went in the grommet below the back door instead of going to the one by the kicker panel. But I soldered everything and shrink wrapped it all so no big deal. I used the pass through wires to get power into the cab but the lighter works as well. I also found a grommet to get extra wires through the fire wall in case i ever need them. I thought about a shop but knew if i did it it would be 100% right and not half assed.

So how do you like it? Lets see some pics and videos! :peace:

This thing is bad ass! Quiet when you want and MEAN when you want that....best of both worlds. DMH is top notch, it seals perfectly and opens/closes flawless. Only issue I had was the switch he sent was crappy, doesn't work properly. I called them and the owner put a new one in the mail for me today no questions asked. I'll post some pics and a video asap.

I will have to agree with you on that. My DMH switch provided was ok but my roommate who took the other one had to get his own switch and I wish I would have bought one like his. You can here it click in and out and know 100% sure you are on the button.
