I can tell you this much I had the DHM with their controller on my truck installed by Hennessy,it never would seal 100% and the motor burt up after 6000 mile so out it came.I still have the set up if someone wants it you will need a new motor to make it work.

Both I and the roommate with the oval DMH cutouts had no problem with the 2ft+ snow we had in OK. I did have mine come unplugged but that was due to the snow being able to get up into that area. We have had no issues with the motor or with the seals but if crap gets up there like dirt or if you leave it open for along time like i do you will need to wipe out the carbon build up or it will not make a 100% seal. Unlike Scotty's Y-pipe our oval cutouts are higher up and with him using an automatic open and close from QTP this maybe be why his motor burnt up. We put ours on rocker switches controlled manual by us. If you used the 2 factory switches mentioned before you have a REALLY good chance of burning up the motors due to the AUX are easy to hit and leave on which would burn up the motor. It only takes 3 seconds to fully cycle open or close. Also I don't know if this is a difference but was told that DMH put in higher torque motors in the newer cutouts and that might be another reason Scotty had problems..... but i'm sure the S/C on his is the biggest reason. They say about 600-700 hp they won't hold together. If anyone is interested in buying his i know DMH has a 4 year warranty on their units and hopefully it would cover all of this.

You know what mine is a QTP and not DHM as I stated sorry for the confusion. And I agree the oval is better. With the true dual exhaust I have now when the truck comes up on BOOST:shocked:I think it is louder than when I had the single cutout. If anyone is interested I have the controller cutout and Y pipe I will make you a smocking deal.

You can put the switch pretty much anywhere you have enough wire to run it to. The Badlanz cutout can be had with a 15' premade cord that will go from your cutout to the switch, that pretty much puts the whole cab in play. Personally I like the location on the back of the aux switch panel, but the panel under the steering wheel is a good spot too.

I had also thought about the side of the center console on the easily removable panel that is down there. I decided against it just because I didn't want it accidentally getting bumped somehow.
