I'd love to know if this was going to be in partnership with Ford like the Mustang superchargers that don't void warranties.

Whipple update (kind of). The Ford Racing Whipple kit for the 5.0 is now available. It comes in two trims. Stage 1 is 525hp (crank) and keeps the factory warranty. Stage 2 is a smaller pulley upping to boost to 9psi and makes 624hp (crank) but no warranty. Kits cost the same at $6495 msrp. Hot Rod magazine has a nice write up with dyno charts. Impressive.

My bet is now that the 5.0 kit is done the 6.2 kit will be along shortly.

Yup, I have the first 624hp GT350 Shelby made, and since I wanted more, I added a smaller pulley and better CAI for an additional 75HP...my recommend is to go 525HP version, its 700.00 cheaper, keeps warranty, then by the pulley I have now and the CAI, for say 400.00, and skip the 624HP and go straight to 700HP!! then if you have a problem, you can put the 525 pulley back before you take the car in.
