my dad has an 09 Super Crew...same seats just bigger. I am over 6ft tall so its hard to carry people in the back seat and be comfortable.

Good point on the chasing aspect of the Raptor SCrew Terry...I was just thinking that the other day. Wonder if Ford will release a limited production run of a Raptor chase truck to compliment the Raptor XT?? Complete with chase racks, stiffer suspension in the rear, onboard air...you know all the necessary items??

Now that funny! Yea, I sat in the back of the cab as is, and I thought it was fine. I am not over 6 foot, so that helps, but I thoght the cab had ample space for passengers, when needed. HOWEVER, I was wondering, are the seats bigger and better in a crew? I do not recall my crew seats being much different than the once in the current Raptor? Yes there was more leg room, but I just dont recall the seats being much or any different?

I measured the difference between the seat depth of a 2010 Super Cab and Super Crew. The Crew seats were about 2 inches deeper, but I couldn't tell a difference otherwise.

That answers my question, so the crew seats are indeed larger than the cab seats... interesting.. so it is not just leg room it is butt room as well. Well that makes sense, but I just never knew for sure... I still do not need the extra room of the crew as I rarely have passengers in back, but if I did have them often, then I can see where the crew may be of interest to those less interested in off road performance, but then again, if that be the case, i would probably opt for the FX4 to be honest. All sort of funny in that I will hardly ever go off road with my Raptor, so who I am to judge LOL.

Wow, those are two very good points, neither of which I thought of! I have never owned a supercab so this is indeed interesting. Good points!

Oh man, I learned a lot from driving around in a mustang with an infant seat. The doors on a 2dr are longer than a 4dr which sucks when someone parks close and you got a carrier. So when I got my 4dr truck I thought I was in heaven LOL

Why is that?! You're in Nevada in the middle of the desert and you have other Raptor owners nearby. A few hours away are some of the best offroading that can be Raptor-ized. Why won't you go offroad in your Raptor?!

Let me reword that, I will go off road, and do trails and stuff, but I doubt I will ever breach the mechanical limits of the truck. I have had other trucks (FX4) and rarely had time to go off road. I think my adventures will be more along the lines of taking some trails in leisure or adventure, more so than just tearing the truck up running it hard. I got some trails right behind my community (Sloan Canyon) that I can try out as well. So to recap, It will be off road but probably not in the manner that most would think of for a Raptor... I like my toys but am always over protective LOL... But hey, who knows, maybe the Raptor will bring my freak back on LOL....
