Exclusive: Ford SVT To Build SuperCrew Raptor

To each their own, but I hate the idea. An SVT vehicle should be just that: a SPECIAL vehicle. I have no doubt they will sell some, but to me, it makes the Raptor a little "less special." I didn't like the shorter box at first, but I came to understand about the shorter wheelbase/off-road capabilities and now love the look. May as well make a Raptor station wagon or mini-van now. I would have rather seen a Ranger version of the Raptor with a big V-6... Just my opinion, I compare it to my love of a two-door car VS a 4-door: the two-door is the cool car, the 4 door is the family car.

Simply put the raptor should stay the raptor and not be made into a "family" truck. It is a dam off road racing truck, leave that to the regular f-150's and everything else. Let the raptor be in a class all it's own, for once let greatness just be great without ruining it by trying to make your whole truck line just like it.

I took my LT for a ride ob base this week... he is a big baja guy, has a tacoma... says the only reason he will not by a Raptor is no Quad cab.

If Fors really comes out with a crew cab I'm heading in to arder one...maybe it'll have 450hp too??
